Greetings and welcome to the official site of the Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. It is my esteemed honor to serve as the 35th President of the Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter. Chartered on December 21, 1943, Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter is home to over 225 dedicated community activists who strive to provide Sincere Sisterhood, Significant Scholarship, and Stellar Service to the city of Portsmouth and surrounding communities.
Through our Five Point Programmatic Thrust of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health and Political Awareness and Involvement, the members of Portsmouth Alumnae work diligently towards transforming the lives of our citizens through education, community engagement, and activism. In an award-winning chapter, we take great pride in leveraging our collective strengths to uphold the legacy of our Founders and to ensure that our outreach efforts result in a positive impact for those in the communities we serve. We embody service to our community, sister over self.
