Welcome to the website of Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an active and award winning chapter of the Sensational South Atlantic Region!

The membership of Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter is a warm hearted sisterhood with the talents of queens and hearts of gold.   As we serve the citizens of Portsmouth and Chesapeake with our public service programs, we ensure that their voices are heard, by addressing issues that may adversely affect community success.  Please take the opportunity to tour our website, and join us in making our community efforts priceless.

You may also read In Search of Sisterhood, a book written by Paula Giddings that describes the history of our organization, features insight from some of our Founders, and details the involvement of African American women in the economic, political, and social arenas over the years.
